Specializes in housing assistance for adults dealing with mental illness, substance use, or transitioning out of homelessness or incarceration. Hours are M–F, 8am–4:30pm.

Saturday 8AM - 2PMYou may schedule a trip to and from any location inside the boundaries of Miami County for a $4.00 fare, one way. We require you schedule rides 24 hours in advance. To have a better chance of getting the days or times needed, please schedule 14 days in advance. Same day ride requests are acceptable, but it is not guaranteed that the time needed will be available.
Miami County Transit is also traveling two miles over the county line to Greater Dayton RTA bus stops in Vandalia and Huber Heights area which is an additional fee of $2.00 totaling $6.00. This is only available Monday-Friday and requires scheduling 24 hours in advance.
How long will the trip take?
The pick-up and return times may be up to 15 minutes earlier or later than your scheduled pickup time to accommodate other riders. Trips should be scheduled one hour prior to the desired time of arrival.
We also offer direct trips to Montgomery County locations which include the following:

Miami Valley North
Kettering Health Dayton
Dayton Children's Hospital
These one-way trips will cost $26.00. Please schedule 7-9 days in advance. This is available Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
We offer a connecting service to Shelby County. The rider is responsible for scheduling trips with both transit systems and must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Please call for more information, 937-335-7433.
In addition, MCT offers a connecting service to Darke County. We require scheduling at least 5 days in advance. The rider is responsible for scheduling trips with both transit systems. Please call for more information, 937-335-7433.

180 E. Race St., Troy. Phone: 937-335-0448. Services are available Monday - Friday during walk-in hours. Provides temporary assistance to families in crisis. Services include obtaining birth certificates and IDs, personal needs like toiletry items, assistance with utility shut-off, gas for medical appointments and employment (outside of Troy) and work boots or non-slip shoes for employment. Amount and frequency of assistance will vary based on circumstances. Rental assistance is not available. Referrals and support are always provided.
Please be sure to bring proof of residency, ID and shut-off notice/bill for utility assistance.

Miami Metropolitan Housing Authority (MMHA) / Miami County CAC Located at 1695 Troy-Sidney Road, Troy. Phone: 937-335-7921. Hours M–F, 8am–4:30pm. Offers Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8) for renting from private landlords, and manages public housing units including Morris House (Troy, seniors), Floral View (Troy, families), and Washington Commons (Piqua). Note: they work by appointment, not walk-ins.
Tipp City Area (emergency financial assistance) There's a resource at 1221 W. Main Street, Tipp City (📞 937-667-3449), serving Tipp City, Troy, West Milton, Ludlow Falls, Laura, and Potsdam. Office hours Tuesday only, 10:30am–3:30pm. Offers financial assistance for emergency situations.

Miami County residents can contact 937-335-7921 and ask for utility scheduling to access Winter Crisis, HEAP, or PIPP assistance. Limited walk-ins are available M–F starting at 8am, first come first served.
