Stewardship Covenant

Entering into Stewardship of this community, we commit to tending what God has entrusted to us — its unity, maturity, and witness.

Receiving Grace
The strength of our shared life will never rise above the authenticity of the grace we receive. We commit to abiding in relationship with Jesus — gathering in worship, being formed by Scripture, attentive in prayer, and sharing at the Lord’s Table. We resist mistaking activity for faithfulness and seek to be shaped by grace into the likeness of Christ.

Extending Grace
Because unity is a gift of the Spirit, we take responsibility for preserving it in how we speak and act. We refuse gossip. We pursue reconciliation when conflict arises and bear one another’s burdens. We choose generosity over suspicion, encouragement over criticism, and honesty over avoidance. We look not only to our own interests, but to the interests of others.

Growing in Maturity
As stewards, we take responsibility for our own formation. We remain teachable. We receive correction when necessary. We participate in the life of the body through presence, service, and generosity. We seek not comfort, but Christlikeness.

Bearing Witness
We steward not only this community but its witness. We embody the love of Christ in our homes, workplaces, and neighborhood — practicing presence over pressure, service over superiority, and faithfulness over spectacle.

We enter this covenant not trusting in our own strength, but in the grace of God, confident that the Spirit who indwells us is faithful to complete the work He has begun.
